Who are we?
My name is Jeremiah Hockemeyer, and I was raised in Dillon, Montana for most of my life. I met my wife, Kaila, when she moved here from Hawaii, and together we’ve been part of the family business ever since.
At We DaKine, we pride ourselves on being a vibrant, local business dedicated to serving our community. We offer a diverse range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of our friends and neighbors—from everyday jobs to quirky odd projects. Above all, we’re passionate about building genuine connections and making sure every customer feels great once their project is complete, no matter the size.
About the name We DaKine
“Da-kine”
— pronounced duh-kine, like ‘that kind.’
We DaKine Is a Hawaiian Pidgin phrase my wife grew up with.
- In Hawaiian culture, “Da Kine” is a commonly used phrase that can mean this, that, or whatever you need. We chose the name because it reflects who we are and what we do—offering a wide variety of services and being there for our community whenever something needs to get done.
